Today marks 20 years since the release of the original Star Fox, but we decided to instead steer attention towards Fox McCloud’s finest hour – Lylat Wars, or Starfox 64 depending on your region.

Lylat Wars is the PAL version of Star Fox 64, named as such due to a preexisting copyright. It’s arguably one of the best games on the Nintendo 64.

This video recording was actually taken as a test record before we sorted out what we were doing for this piece, so it’s quite a bit shorter than some of our other videos. We only ended up recording the first level and I did quite poorly.
