Masters of the Universe was the hottest property of the 1980s, and somehow Mattel managed to squander everything it touched outside of the original toys and animated series. Sadly, there has never been a good He-Man game, and there probably never will be.

Disney’s 1982 cult classic TRON inspired a couple of video games around the time of release. The Adventures of TRON and TRON: Deadly Discs both made their way to the Atari 2600 courtesy of Mattel.

It should sadden you that there will never be a good Masters of the Universe game.
Masters of the Universe: The Power of He-Man was released for the Intellivison and Atari 2600 in 1983. Given that He-Man was a huge thing for Mattel, it was only a matter of time before he got his own video game. However, the game generally reflected the low budget productions of just about anything He-Man related, and was not very good.
