It was recently rumoured that a Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition for PlayStation 3 was in the works, and here it is.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition includes a 24 page art book featuring concept artwork from the original games and a swish looking outer box.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition is confirmed for North America and Europe and is a pre-order bonus, so those buying the game receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition if you pre-order at a major video game retailer (such as EB Games or JB Hi-Fi in Australia). I’ve got my order down already.

A Gamestop advertisement may have outed a yet to be announced Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition. The ad (pictured below) offered a ‘free limited edition upgrade’ to those that pre-order the upcoming title. The offer has since been removed and replaced with a less titillating ‘Coming Soon’ message instead.

Square Enix are yet to comment on the existence of a Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition, but we think a Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Limited Edition-esque version seems very likely.

Zone of the Enders HD Edition Premium Package revealed

by on May.26, 2012, under News

Kojima Productions is hard at work on Zone of the Enders HD Edition, which will be released on October 25 in Japan – and like every other KojiPro release, it’ll be getting the premium package treatment.

The package is quite similar to the Metal Gear Solid HD Edition package from last year, with the game, a sturdy outer box, a CD soundtrack featuring remixed tracks from the games, the Chronicle Artbook (containing the art from the 2001 and 2003 premium packages) and the reBOOT Artbook (which looks at the HD edition’s development). It’ll cost you Â¥8,980 for this package on either the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

Of course, those with a bit more scratch could opt for the Konamistyle edition, which takes the above and throws in a Blu Ray featuring the Zone of the Enders Idolo original video animation and an Idolo illustrations book featuring more Yoji Shinkawa art. The Konamistyle Edition will cost ¥9,980.
