Did you know that there were two Ghostbusters II games for the NES – one by Activision and one by HAL Laboratory? HAL’s version was never released in North America due to Activision tying up exclusivity there. Neither was particularly well received.

A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia is a fantastic little puzzle game designed by David Crane and developed by Imagineering for Absolute Entertainment. You play as a young boy accompanied by his alien friend Blobert. Blobert has the ability to change into different things based on the flavour of jelly beans he eats. It’s a bit janky, but still a unique concept that’s reasonably well executed.

So what’s worse, The Simpsons video games, or the actual show post season 9?
The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants is the first of some 24 games based on the long running animated series. The game was criticised for being a quick cash in on release, but proved to be one of the better Simpsons video games when many of the ones released after it were far worse.
