French site Jeuxvideo has posted a discussion with Adeline founder Didier Chanfray. While the post was mainly a denial of the existence of Little Big Adventure 3, which had been rumoured to be in development in a Facebook post, Chanfray elaborated on the state of the series.

He says that “to date, LBA 3 is not planned,” and that “the road to LBA3 is still long and bumpy” but strong public support for the first two titles could help a third game come to fruition.

The more interesting part of the post was that Little Big Adventure / Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure, and Little Big Adventure 2 / Twinsen’s Odyssey could be headed to a digital service near you. Chanfray says that downloadable versions of the two games are currently under negotiation, and that a “remix of LBA for a touch pad” is under consideration.

My guess is that we might see the two games on Good Old Games in the near future.
