Incubattle: Stop the Album Leak, 8-bit inspired Flash game

by on Jul.16, 2011, under News

Alternative rock band Incubus has posted an 8-bit inspired Flash game on their website entitled Incubattle: Stop the Album Leak, in conjunction with Kill Screen magazine. The game revolves around beating up (literal) pirates, who have stolen the band’s latest album. The game has been released to promote the band’s new album If Not Now, When?

The game features some nice pixel art and chiptune renditions of the band’s music (or so I believe, I haven’t followed them in 10 years), but the gameplay is pretty straightforward. Still, it’s a pretty cool promotional effort.
