The BBC is reporting that long-serving work for hire developer Eurocom Entertainment Software will be shutting its doors after 24 years.

Eurocom is best remembered for their high quality ports during the fifth generation era such as the Mortal Kombat series, Duke Nukem 64 and Hydro Thunder.

They also spearheaded the Wii-based reimagining of GoldenEye, which was a big success in 2010. However, it seems Bond did them in in the end, with the recently released 007 Legends lack of success being a major contributor to the studio’s fate.
