Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D screening in Sydney on July 27

by on Jul.13, 2011, under News

Word has come through that Namco Bandai Partners will be hosting a screen of Tekken: Blood Vengeance on Wedesday, July 27th at Event Cinemas in George Street, Sydney. It’s a one off screening, so first in, best dressed.

Namco Bandai is also giving away 25 double passes to see the film on their Facebook page.

Set between Tekken 5 and 6, Blood Vengeance follows Xiaoyu Ling, who has been tasked by the G Corporation (that’s Kazuya’s corporation, for those of you who aren’t up to date on your Tekken soap opera) to gather information on a mysterious student named Shin Kamiya. Of course, the proverbial hits the fan when Shin is kidnapped. Ling teams up with Alisa Bosconovitch and learns about the frightening underbelly of the Mishima Zaibatsu and the conspiracy behind the Mishima family.

Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D is technically the third Tekken feature film (there was an anime one, Tekken: The Motion Picture in 1997 and a live action one that went direct to DVD last year), but it’s also part of the “Tekken Hybrid Collection”, which is meant to feature a HD remake of Tekken Tag Tournament, and other unannounced things.
