Our good friend Xed over at PlayStation Collecting recently interviewed a fellow named Ahans76, who has recently completed a fully sealed NTSC-U PlayStation 2 collection.

Well, excusing the games that have yet to come out (Madden NFL 12, FIFA 12, NBA 2K12).

Not only is the collection sealed, but it consists entirely of first print run, black label games. First edition NTSC-U games have a white Sony security seal on the top.

The interview mainly discusses how the guy got starting in collecting and what drew him towards the PlayStation 2. Might be interesting to note the games which gave him the most trouble are actually quite common.

For anyone tempted to try, you won’t be able to do the same for the PAL PS2 as many games, particularly Konami releases, didn’t have factory seals.
